This access control system can recognize people’s faces, screen their temperature, and based on preset rules allow or deny entry access, by activating automatic doors or turnstiles.

Product Description

Our Temperature Verification kiosk, also known as Temperature Screening kiosk, uses Belgian built Melexis sensor for temperature detection and two 2 megapixel cameras for the face scanner feature. It provides accurate and quick body temperature results. And based on preset rules allow or deny entry access, by activating automatic doors or turnstiles, among other peripherals. Alerts are displayed on the screen along with audible voice alarms, which can be customized. It can be used as a stand-alone device or can be connected to a PC for real-time remote video streaming, monitoring and operation.

Will it still work if the person being screened is wearing a face mask?
Yes, as long as the forehead is uncovered the thermal sensor will work perfectly fine.

Can it also work as a face recognition device?
Yes, it features both temperature screening and face recognition with dedicated cameras and sensors for each function.

Does it need to be connected to a computer to work?
No, it is designed to work as a standalone device, it only needs to be connected to a computer for the initial set up, for live remote monitoring.

Does it need to be connected to the internet to work?
No, the only function that requires internet access is the notification emails of abnormal temperature screening

Can I connect it to my automated access door?
Yes, the kiosk features all the necessary ports to connect it to alarm systems and automated doors to control them.

Can I watch the screening from my office?
Yes, it can be connected to office network to provide a live video feed while also showing the thermal and visual comparative results.

How tall is the adjustable floor stand?
The floor stand has adjustable height, it can be set to as low as 31 inches and as high as 49, to that you need to add the height of the actual device which is 13 inches.

How tall is the floor stand with the LED light?
It’s 43.5 inches tall, and to that you need to add 13.5″ of the device itself, making it a total of 57 inches.

Can I connect this to Wi-Fi?
Yes, you can, but you’ll need to purchase an adapter like the IOGEAR Ethernet-2-WiFi Universal Wireless Adapter, these devices cost around 50 US dollars online.

How is this device powered?
It is powered with an included 12V 2A power supply with an auto-switch input (100-240 V). It does not require any batteries, avoiding fire risks associated with lithium batteries.

Does it keep records of temperature measurements?
Yes, by default it’s set up to keep a detailed log of the screening process that includes a snapshot of the person’s face, their temperature, date and time, and name (if the face was previously uploaded to the database). However, there is a privacy mode that can be enabled, and no records will be stored except for the temperatures, but the values will not be associated to any person, photo or name.

Can the reports be exported?
Yes, they can be exported to an excel spreadsheet along with a picture folder of the faces screened.

Does the face recognition feature work with face masks?
Yes, it does.

Can the temperature screening work if someone is wearing a mask?
Yes, it is effective with or without a mask on.

Can the face mask requirement be disabled?
Yes, it can.

Can voice alerts be customized?
Yes, all voice alerts such as “abnormal temperature”, “please pass”, “please wear a mask”, “closer to the sensor” and others can be rerecorded by connecting the device to a computer, or audio files can be uploaded to replace the default voice. The message can be read in other languages or the content can be completely changed; there are no restrictions as long as it’s a .wav file.

Do you do installations?
No, we do not. However, the device is relatively simple to install for its basic functionality. We provide FREE tech support by phone or email to all our customers. For more advanced features, an IT person should be able to install it.

Can the device be placed outside?
It is not recommended to place this temperature screening device outside as it is not waterproof and it would affect the temperature screening readings.

Can it import large batches of files to build a face recognition database?
Yes, data can be imported in various formats.

How accurate are the temperature measurements?
They are very accurate with a margin of error of ± 0.3 °C (Tested within 30-45cm at trigger temperature of 37.3°C and± 0.5 °C tested between 36 and 41 °C)

What distance is the Thermal Scanner accurate at?
The best temperature scanning accuracy is achieved between 1 and 1.5-feet
distance from the device. Best face recognition accuracy is achieved between 0.3-1.3m (11.8″-4.3ft). How quickly can the Thermal Scanner read a temperature? The Thermal Scanner produces results in under 1 second.
How many people can be scanned at a time? 1 person can be scanned at a time.

Is this device suitable for school aged children?
Yes, it is suitable for school aged children with the adjustable floor stand. Also, the wall bracket can be placed at the desired height and the scanner angle can be adjusted to accommodate school aged children.

Can this device be used for time and attendance (clock in/out)?
There is a third-party free software that we provide upon request that possesses attendance registration features.

Can I monitor multiple devices from one PC?
